A photographic account of the island of Alicudi, a visual narrative in which reality and the elsewhere intertwine and constantly shift, inviting readers to let themselves be carried away as they explore the island’s depths and, in a mirror-like and almost instinctive way, their own inner depths. Angela Ferrotti, a young Sicilian photographer making her debut with our publishing house, tiptoes across the island and attempts to convey its essence without trying to interpret it, leaving those who leaf through this book, if they so wish, the chance to gaze into the void, into the space that may be white (or black).
